Here's a guide of how you delete the advertising spam script in CS 1.6. Just follow the steps and it will be fixed.

1. Start CS
2. Open console and write unbindall
3. Go into: options, keyboard, use defaults

Now you're done!

Tho, if you go into your cstrike folder, you will find a config.CFG(or something similiar) Which controls all bindings, where you can delete one without deleting all of them.

Yeah I've read that too but I wanted to make it easy.

Here is a message that often is shown on the server that comes from a spam script: Zaidejas Paspaude [F9] Migtuka -=Modas.LT=-

It's Lithuanian and means: "Player clicking [F9] number of buttons" and then the logo. Used google translate so it's probably not correct. Modas.lt is a CS network, I discovered.

Another one is just advertising from the server zmGamers.lt, so it's best to avoid servers from Lithuania! ;P

Yes I agree with GloriousNoR. I have alot of bindings because I play alot PCW and then you need things like autobuy buttons. But annyway I have copied my config.cfg file to my desktop, so when I get spam script on my config I just delete the config.cfg file in my cstrike file.Then I put my config.cfg file on my desktop into the cstrike file again. But I dont think so manny on the rats2k4 server have autobuy buttons so I think the best thing is to do as fruitbowl 1 said. well explained by the way, easy and smooth.

Yeah exactly, the script binds a well used button to display advertises for servers but often it doesn't display it to the player with the script. These scripts are often downloaded when you enter a crappy server, often Lithuanian servers but probably not all.

im sorry if i confuzed you guys, but back then i was young and stupid sort of, (you know what i mean i hope) i wanted to bind for example T with a text like "dont camp" or "flexibel is back!". i dont know how to do that now either does it still counts as a spam script or can i just type in "bind T dont camp" in console?
ofc i dont want to bother other people with junk server texts!
