Hello. I've been active on your counter strike 1.6 rats server lately, and apparently someone just found it fair to ban me. And for what? Please let me know.

Name's Waah / Coolio in-game. Yes, players have accused me of cheating, but without proof I'd think it would be harsh to ban me? Idk. Anyway, other than that I wouldn't see a reason for you to ban me. I havent done anything wrong as I see it.

So, well.. unless you got any evidence of me cheating -- actually. If you got a demo at all I'd like to see it for the laugh. Having played cs since before CS 1.3 release, grants me some experience which makes me able to shoot through walls etc. Of course, might be suspicious. ( also note that sound is an important key for knowing where people are. ) So if anyone suspects me for wallhack please consider the noise levels around me before judging.

Edit: I just stomped upon Cskillers demo of me "cheating". Frankly, it's one of the most horrible demos of myself I've ever seen. A tape where I continuously die qualifies me as a cheater? I mean, come on.. that's just disappointing. At least whip up a decent demo lol.. other than that it's a good thing that you try and keep the servers clean.

Which of the demos he posted is with you on it?

Waah isn't cheating. I played a couple of times with him, he's better than many players but he's no cheater.

I saw the demo and it doesn't show any cheats. When did you get banned?

Actually I was flattered for being on your list of suspected cheaters, but then I saw the tape.. wish you'd put up a better demo m8:p anyway yeah..

To be frank, I was the one banning you. I also made a demo, although I can't find it. Anyway, it was conclusive of a WH.

- You shot people that was un-noticed through the wall. I saw it again and again, and I didnt find any clue of how you figured out he/her was there at that moment, even by all these factors you shot and killed them. I turned the sound on high to hear anything that would be directional for you, but there wasnt any.
- If you had killed one by these means, it could mean luck, but luck like that doesnt happen that much over a short timeframe.

Hmm.. What is poor about that? I have HUNDREDS of demos, without any proper sorting, you are a Server Admin, You should actually restrain yourself for what you are saying. I said I can't find it and therefore I can't hold any evidence that is pointing against him.

To be fair, I deem your post as inappropriate, as you don't show any will to actually understand what is written. If you had read the whole line, you propably would have figured, but that is maybe to much to ask for? Personally, I don't care if the person is your friend or whatever he may be. I have never banned anyone by mistake, and unless you find anyway to prove me wrong, I would like you to not post in this thread.

I really want the 1.6 team to solve this, but I'd like to share my opinion.
I think you should trust Glorious. If he's saying that he's 100% sure, then I trust him. If you've seen several demos of this guy and concluded that he did not cheat, consider watching again, or maybe he turned his hacks off. < That's possible right?

If you really feel so connected to this server, be happy, you can play again soon, because the ban is not permanent (right?).

The ban is permanent, I kinda overreacted on the length of the ban, although I feel sure about the ban, I have no conclusive evidence and then I can't make a good arguement.

Whatever happened to "innocent till proven guilty" ? Personally I don't expect much from a counter strike community, seeing it as it is -- a game. I've experienced admins throwing bans in all directions several times, without a bit of proper evidence.. What can I say to prove my innocence, GloriousNOR? It's a meaningless player's word against an admins, after all.

I'd say Eli's comment wasn't too harsh, rather a pointer for you as an admin. You should've been sure to have the demo before perm banning, right? What's done is done, I hold no grudge though.

Regarding the wall shooting.. as stated above , I've been an active player for a long time now, having played cs on rats servers primarily (nldark - good times.). That makes me, well let's say experienced with the most common camping spots, or as there are few exits on each side of the faction spawns, it's not hard to figure out where people hide -- given they've been spotted at those places several times in earlier rounds.
