i dont know if someone agrees, but in my opinion, is the ptb on rats not the best idea i saw. the teams are often still unfair, and u cant often join the team u like, or someone fights alone against 5 guys (happend to me and a friend of mine), this is mostly unfair, cause i dont think that someone wins when 5 guys start shooting from 5 different places on someone, and that is shitty for the rank.
so my question is: is there another idea for the team-balancing?

Well, I don't agree 100%. PTB is for the most of the time good in my sight, but sometimes you cant join any team at all because it says: The CT team is full. It's pretty wierd because even if I choose auto-choose, T or CT I can't join! And as you said Anterro, sometimes it is 5 on 1 teams because PTB is messed up. I agree, de_rats2k4 needs another team-balancer.

If a better Auto-balancer can be found other than the original that came with cs i would gladly see a change.

PTB is the best balancer as far as i know, when the teams get wrong in the way that one player have to face several foes is really unfair but its usually because of the stats, a simple reconnect would even things out.

I would say that PTB makes the server far much better than it was before when one team could get really overpowered making the team scores something like 40-5(this used to happen a lot), when it works properly ptb even the teams really good.

i agree with you static, it is BETTER than before, but not perfect, i searched a long time for a new balancer.
i remember that we had a very good one at the old dust-server i was admin, but this is a long time ago, i could ask the old owner of the server

I like PTB because before I had to transfer players all the time and I often got killed for doing it etc. however I agree with you guys that it's not perfect but it's WAY much better than before. I'll keep an eye out for a better one but I'm actually not so sure there is one

This summarizes my thoughts on the matter. If we can find a better team-balancer then I'd be happy to switch PTB!
