Hello guys! :)

I want to know what you think about the new Counter-strike game: Counter-strike Global Offensive? If you didn't know this game even exist, just search for it on Youtube :)

EDIT: You think it's worth to buy? :)

This game is based on the source engine so I think it's going to fail big time amongst the 1.6 players.

I think fruitbowl is right. Of course many players will buy this game, at least just to try it out, but it wont win against 1.6 - never.. =D

If i could choice between Source and 1.6 = 1,6 of course! ;) Source i don't like the Source's normal maps/normal games, cuz they have made the ak47 so bad, and the sub machine guns is 5 times better than an ak47. However i like the source's zombie, surf and breakfloor. All other i vote for 1.6

I hope this game will be more like 1.6 but the graphics alittle better! :D It would be the best game ever, ;=9

I think some of you are missing the point - yes, GO is going to be based on the Source engine, but there's several versions of Source, most recently the Portal 2 revision; which is what GO is being based on.

Don't forget that Source is also simply the "game engine" which renders the universe/graphics, it's not really anything to do with the aiming. The problem with CS:S is it has different anti-lag measures and a different hitbox system to 1.6 (along with other things as I understand it), but the game engine doesn't affect aiming. Presumably they'll tweak aiming and stuff again in GO, but with the new Source engine the idea is it will be pretty.

It is true what you say CPC but that IS the problem for me. I love 1.6 as it is, with the bugs, bad graphics etc! :) That's why I will not buy CS:GO.

Exactly, 1.6 players doesn't give a damn about the graphics, that's why we play it so why change something that already is an epic game? I just hope none of the 1.6 players (especially the ones here) will buy this game to show that they are ruining something here.
