dude, elementary school: (0)1-6, jr. High school 7-9 and then High school (optional) 1-3 (10-13), after that university(3-9 years, optional)

In my country there are 12 grades. There were 11 years - years ago. =)

When you're 4 years old, you go to basic school. It has 8 classes. I skipped the 4th.
Normally you go to high school when you're 12 or 13, i went to high school when i was 11. Now i'm in the 4th grade of high school.
Now everybody understands i'm not the dumbest person ever.
