I think this sounds like a great idea. I do think, however, that we should try to adhere to the following points:
  • not have the fightnights the same weekend
  • try to plan the advertising ahead (so that more people are aware of the events actually happening)
What do you guys think? Shall we try two Sundays, as we usually do? Give me your suggestions for dates!
Haha :P I do indeed have 1.6! I have a playtime of about 10 minutes though. Thanks for setting me up though Doggie - I'll try and get an hour or two on 1.6 at some point.

Definitely agree with your suggestions and as long as the fightnights aren't this coming Sunday (3rd Oct) or the Sunday after (10th Oct), I should be free! Looking forward to them!

Well then, seeing as both Nick and me are busy for this Sunday (the 10th), what do you say we try Sunday the 17th for the Source fightnight and the week after (Sunday the 24th) for the 1.6 fightnight? How does that sound to you guys?

Well my holidays start the 23th, and before I can't really play because of school.. Maybe it can be like this?

24th - CS:Source
31th - Counterstrike

I agree with fruitbowl 2 and Nebulouz.
Im not absolutely sure about the 24th, because I've got many exams in coming week and the week after the 24th... But the 31th would be very great =)

I'm very busy this weekend and will not be able, most likely, to host a fightnight nor to arrange it. Perhaps the 24th and 31st are better dates!

Should be fine. I think I've got a LAN party to go to next weekend so if it was the 1.6 one first, that might be better for me personally, as I can't guarantee I'll be there if the main tournament is running and I'd really like to get to our CS:S Fightnight.
